Hi I’m Brooklyn.  I’m a sweet  Alabama girl with a big city name.  I’m an English Pointer/Lab mix, about 10 months old.  I was a stray and then spent a lot of time in a shelter so I was a little short on manners when I came into GPPR.  Since then I’ve shown how smart I am by quickly learning how to walk nice (most of the time, anyway) on a leash, sit, lay-down, and come.  I’ve learned to sit nice for my meals and wait for an “ok.”  My housetraining is going well but I’ll still need supervision and reinforcement.  I love to meet people, including children, and soak up all the love they have to offer.  I’m also good with other dogs though I do get a little exuberant in my puppy silliness.  I like chasing songbirds and hope you do, too.  I stay in my crate like a good girl.  Chews and chewie-toys help me behave.  I need a fenced yard and can’t be trusted off-leash until I mature a bit and forget my former wandering ways.   I’m a soft little snugglebug and I’m looking for my Forever Home.   If you could use a small-town big-city snugglebug in your life, here I am!!
