Hi, I’m Rudy. My foster mom says that I am a sweet young pup. I’m on the larger size for a GSP. Foster mom says I need more work on my basic commands and can be a bit stubborn. Hey - I am still learning! Foster mom says I have tunnel vision. I love to chase birds and run in the open. I am a more submissive dog. In other words, I can live with a bossy dog! I like cats but it probably should be a grown cat and with someone watching me to tell me it is not okay to bother them. I’m just curious - they should want to play with me too!
I’m crate trained and I love water. Foster mom says I eat like a gentle giant and have a wonderful personality. I love to snuggle with my humans and doggies. Of course, I love to play with rope toys, chew on raw hides and big hard cow bones! I love kids but I don’t realize my size and so I can knock over the little ones. I sometimes get so excited that it seems like I am biting your hand, but all I am really doing is just grabbing your hand softly. A firm no stops me. I listen to directions - you just have to be firm and consistent and very regimented in what you teach me and expect of me. In other words, you have to keep following through until it sticks in my head cause I’m busy being a dog. (Oh look - there’s bird!) I am a young boy in a big boy’s body and still trying to figure out how to use it all!
Foster mom says I am not food aggressive towards humans or dogs.
So call me - maybe! In the meantime, I’ll be here with my foster family chewing on cow bones and chasing birds.
