Hello future family,

My name is Eli, and I’m a four-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer. I’m a very cute doggo who loves a good mix of being outside and being a big couch potato inside. But I’ll let you know that when I’m outside, I LOVE BEING OUTSIDE. If you let me, I’ll pull on the leash and really work those forearms of yours, but I want to be your best boy so I’m eager to learn to be right by your side on walks and already making great progress with my training. Just be sure to take me to the dog park a few times a week to get my running in!

I love people and am great around kids. I love to cuddle and love getting belly rubs even more. I’m friendly with other dogs and to be honest if my ball is out, I won’t even notice that other dogs are around. I will say that it’d be best to have my toys and food separate from another pup in the house just to avoid any confusion for the first few weeks! Or just slowly introduce new toys into the lineup. 

Lastly, I am house trained and have my favorite puppy bed that I rarely part from. I’m equally as happy sleeping there (all day) or sleeping with you to keep you warm on cold nights. I don’t bark indoors but may whine from time to time if I’m feeling a bit antsy to get outside. And if you leave for a while, I will be at the door for a couple of minutes but will retire to my bed because sleeping is more interesting than whatever you’re out doing. 

Overall, I’m a great and loving pup with lots of energy to be used up but that can come physically or mentally, which is even better. for my training I can’t wait to show you how much I’m willing to learn and be your best friend.
