Rogue was previously adopted but he and the other male GSP in the home are not getting along, so he is looking for a new fur-ever home. Rogue does great with the female dog in the home and cats. He is currently in boarding and is doing great with all the dogs there.

I'm Rogue! I had a tough beginning and had to learn how to fend for myself for bit before coming to GPPR and learning what it's like to be in a loving home. I am energetic and love to play, but really enjoy cuddling on the couch (or in bed!) with my people. When I'm not cuddling, I enjoy a good bone, toy, or ball to play with. I'll even entertain myself throwing toys in the air and running after them.

Behavior:

Rogue is under socialized and came to rescue with no training. It's evident he was a stray for some time. He will reluctantly go in his kennel but can be vocal and has some anxiety about being left alone. It takes him a bit, but he eventually settles in. He is hesitant with males (humans) but warms up to them quickly. He needs a patient and understanding home who is willing to work on basic training. Rogue responds well to positive reinforcement. A harsh "no" scares him. Rogue is super smart and trains well. Would be a great addition to any active family with some training experience.
