Rhea, (Ray-Ah), is a petite four-year-old pointer mix. She is crate-trained, almost potty trained, and has learned to sit. She loves going for walks and will only walk on the left side of you. She does great with and without a harness. She gets very excited when she sees squirrels and her tiny tail wags like crazy.
Rhea spends her day lounging on a dog bed, looking out the window, or chasing animals in the backyard. We have only heard her bark one time and that was when she was excited to go for our walk. Rhea currently has free roam of the house. She doesn’t like hardwood floors, but is learning to walk and sit on them. Rhea loves to play with toys, but she does not like to share and will be protective over them. That is why she would do best as an only dog. Rhea is opening up more as she gets comfortable. We are so proud of her and we will continue to show her what life is supposed to be like until she finds her forever home.
Rhea still has more vetting to be completed and should be available for adoption in December or January. She is being fostered in Nebraska.
