Hey Everyone.....my name is Ty!!!!!  I am approximately a year old and am still learning the ropes of being in a home.  I was found in a field in a rural area of Kansas with another dog.   We were both brought to Great Plains Pointer Rescue to heal and get some meat on our bones.

I landed in central Iowa.  I have to admit that I LOVE it here!!!!  My foster family has 3 huge windows that I can bird and squinny watch!!  When I get tired of that, I like to jump into a pile of pillows on the couch and roll around.  When I'm tired, I like to tuck my head behind my foster mom's back when she is sitting on the couch and fall asleep.  I am learning manners in the house and that I have to do my business outside.  

I am not a fan of the vacuum cleaner or really loud sounds.  I love to follow the scent of any critter but I am really scared if someone just claps behind me.  I love kids but I might do better if they are over 5...only because I like to bound around and I don't want to knock anyone over.

Last thing.....my foster mom says that she thinks I might be part Gazelle.  When it is time to go outside, I stand on all 4's and proceed to jump 4-5 foot in the air!!!!!!  She said she hasn't seen anything like it so for my safety and everyone's piece of mind, I will need a 6 foot fence.

I think that is it!  I can't wait to meet a great new family that has birds that I can watch!!!!  :)
