Greetings All,

My name is Hawk; I am approximately 5 years old and being fostered in MN. I love to run around outside sniffing and playing. I get along well with my foster siblings but had a little trouble with a male in the home that previously adopted me.  We both wanted to be king of the castle, and well, you just can’t have two Kings so I am back with GPPR.  My house manners are good, I lie quietly in a crate if needed and I always let you know when I need to use the bathroom.

My foster mom allows me to free roam the house with my foster siblings when she is not home. I am quiet in the house; I will spend hours watching birds and squirrels outside but I will sound the “Stranger, Danger” alarm to protect you when necessary.  I find leashes a bit constricting when on a walk so I pull hard to explore my surroundings.  I love to cuddle with my humans, sometimes I want all the attention but my foster mom reminds me that everyone needs love so I will share her lap with my foster siblings. I like to play tug of war with my foster brother and am beginning to explore chew toys.

My recall is good, I know how to sit when told but will need some training for other basic commands.  I do really well with a routine and will need daily exercise. My foster mom says I am a fantastic dog and somebody is going to be very fortunate to adopt me.
