JD is everything you would expect from a pointer puppy! He is full of energy, goofy and loves to play. He will play fetch in the yard until he cannot stand, and after a drink, will be ready to go again. He loves toys of all types and can entertain himself with a rope.

 

JD had a rough start to life, so he is not always comfortable around other dogs. He is currently in a foster home with three older female pointers, and he likes to play with them and has even gotten to the point where he will snuggle. His forever family should have a female dog that is patient, but will keep up with him. JD will need continual training to work through this issue.

 

JD is very interested in birds and has a pretty point. He will be going to Game Fair coming up so we will find out if he is gun shy.

 

JD is also a cuddle bug, he will sleep in his crate but in the morning he likes to cuddle before the day begins. At night, he loves to cuddle and will seek you out to pet his head while he snores away. He is a good boy and is very smart.
