Hi my name is Ruger, I am a loveable 4 year old GSP who is looking for my furever home. I love to cuddle, especially when that means on your bed! I am pretty easy going for a young dog, I love naps! I love to play with bones, and play tug-of-war with a rope toy, but after that i need a nap. I like to go for walk and my foster mom is working on my manners. Right now I know sit, lay and I am working on stay...but its so hard, also she is working on other tricks with me as well.

 

My mom doesn't think I am gun shy, and I like to play fetch. I do worry a bit when she puts me in the kennel but I quiet down quickly once I am sure it will be okay. I will let you know when I have to potty by going to the door. I love to go for car rides but I get a little sick, but she gives me some benedryl and I do just fine!

 

I have also been out to several events and parades with my foster mom, who knew that tractors and all those fun things were out there! I am learning to walk using my gentle leader and it makes me a better behaved boy! I know my furever home is out there, I would love to find a home soon.

 

Ruger will be great as an only dog and wants to be your companion!
