Great Plains Pointer Rescue

Hi, my name is Louise, usually my foster family calls me Lou as I respond a little better to that, I'm still learning my name. I am an eight year old pocket pointer, weighing in at 39 lbs!  I am the sweetest girl you may ever meet, my foster family tells me that all of the time. 

 

I'll be honest, I'm a bit of a couch potato. I take frequent naps throughout the day in between walks, car rides and bone chewing. I'm very mellow and sometimes if you can't find me, I may be taking my nap on the couch.  I go where my humans go, couch, bed and car. I love to be near you and will snuggle right next to you or on your lap! I even snuggle on the recliner with my foster sister and my human! 

 

I am crate trained and we are working on the potty training, my foster family said I am getting the hang of it! I have been left alone for short periods and did great, my humans actually found me sleeping on the couch with my foster sister! 

 

We are starting to work on commands as I do not know any. I'm still learning what it is to "play", I have not shown any interest in playing with balls or my humans. I LOVE to chew on bones, they are so tasty!

 

I'm looking for my forever family that is looking for a couch and bed buddy as I will be right by your side. If you are looking for a mellow, petite girl, you have found me!
