Bert is a sweet and happy 3 year old GSP/Lab mix. His tail is constantly wagging and it wags extra hard when it’s time for dinner or a treat. He gets along with our resident dog – they will curl up together on the couch – but Bert is more interested in sticking close to his humans. Aside from a tendency to jump up when he’s excited, he has very good manners: he is potty and crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows: sit, stay, up, off, treat, and of course… outside! He is timid about having his feet handled and he wasn’t keen on the bathtub, however as his well-being and confidence improves he is becoming less timid. Above all, Bert is of the belief that if you’re just sitting there, you should also be petting him. He will squiggle his nose beneath your fingers as a reminder. Bert is fostered in MN.
