This doggy is described as a 'Goofball'. I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m a dog on a mission to please you. (Socially motivated)

Rufus (meaning red-hair) is a silky, handsome, reddish-brown German Shorthair Pointer mix (perhaps mixed with lab). He is about 3 years old and is quiet, and non-reactive. Rufus enjoys being with humans and other dogs. He is currently living with a foster family where he is mastering house training, leash walking, and basic obedience. He has already mastered cuddling, playing with teenage boys, and being admired by all that have met him. Rufus’s athleticism, intelligence and stable personality make him a great choice for someone interested in agility training or other active dog sports.
